The folder also contains a file called "shell32b.dll" which is a library of the icons. To customize a folder, right-click the folder, choose "Properties," then find "Customize," and browse to where ever you saved the icons to. This is the set of file manager icons as windows ICO files. I will put a screenshot of the icon table for this set. I have manually named all of the icons in this set. If you happen to be a school psychologist, the work-related icons will be more useful to you -} otherwise just delete any that are irrelevant. It is the one that I have actually been using. This is a winnowed-down version of the categorized one. The icons in this folder are named such as "folder-subfolder-x-.png." The subfolder called "dFileMan" is the set if file manager icons mentioned above. But if a person has their toolbar in "structured mode," or if you access the icons via the Edit Menu, you can't have too many in a folder or they go off the top/bottom edge of the screen. It actually bugs me when files are nested in subfolders inside of other subfolders. Unfortunately, some of the icons are of different artistic syles (classic, realism, cartoony, etc.), If you don't want the mixed themes, use the above ones. Here I attempted to take the best ones, and categorize them. The “k321” ones, and a couple others, were contributed by me. Some of the sets are lame and lacking others are quite nice. You can, thus, track down the artist from the Yahoo group if desired. I gave the folders (and icons) the same name as the set. This is all of the sets from the Yahoo group. The Palm icons are of the dimension 18(h) by 20(w) pix (my file man icons are 20x20)) which makes them not really suited for conversion to Win Icos, but they work nicely as custom icons in freeplane. I'm including the icons as regular Windows Icon Files, but I also converted them to the same dimensions as the old Palm icons. I was going to reserve the use of them to the x2 community, but my skin was not particularly popular (as you can read), so I got blessings from the developer of x2, and have made them open for others to use. The file manager they were originally made for is xplorer2. There are also several icons that are converted from a large set of file manager icons that I made, based on the theme of a skin that I made. Message to see if anyone objected to sharing them on other freeware forums. I've converted the sets to PNGs so that they can be used in Freeplane. The files section of the group has a bunch of icon sets that people had posted to share with others. Icon Manager is(was) a freeware application for Palm OS, that faded away along with all things Palm. The set is primarily from the Icon Manager Yahoo Group.
